UPDATE: With an estimated $46 million box-office gross, Cloverfield has broken the record for the four-day Martin Luther King Jr. weekend.
27 Dresses earned an estimated $27.3 million (that’s a pretty strong second). The Bucket List finished third. Mad Money, released on fewer screens than the other two premieres, grossed a little over $9 million. (estimates courtesy Variety)
