The Simpsons Movie Scores Huge Opening Box Office
Is The Simpsons Movie a “D’oh!”? No way, dude.
The animated wonder surpassed even the most optimistic predictions this weekend, with an estimated gross just under $72 million. Jeez Homer, that’s a whole lot of donuts — in fact, $2 mil. over the film’s reported budget.
The Simpsons Movie was so dominating the weekend’s 2nd biggest movie was roughly $52 million behind: the second turn for I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry.
