Airing Set for Documentary IN A DREAM

One of the most curious, confounding artists in the U.S. is mosaic master Isaiah Zagar. Most commonly seen on the streets of South Philadelphia, Zagar’s work is big, dense, detailed, colorful and slightly obsessive. So is his life.
His son Jeremiah Zagar captured Isaiah’s career and careening-out-of-control personal world in the documentary In A Dream, which HBO has acquired and will air on HBO 2 on Wednesday, August 19 at 8pm.

I definitely recommend In A Dream, and gave it 4 / 5 stars. It’s odd and painful, with a wonderful artistic sense (and music) that’s appropriate for it’s subject and subject matter.
