HBO Celebrates George Carlin This Week
From the hippie-dippy weatherman to Buddy Christ, the late George Carlin reveled in bucking the mainstream and making us consider just how screwed up the world can be.
But when one man can make you crack up that much, with that level of genius, it ain’t all that bad. HBO, who established themselves as a comedy haven thanks to Carlin (and Robert Klein), are devoting two days-plus to an incomparable collection of Carlin concerts. Here’s the schedule, direct from our friends at HBO:

In addition, It’s Bad for Ya will air on HBO’s main channel Friday night at 9pm.
So, chill out, find a place for your stuff, and check out a guy who’s untouched in the world of comedic thought. And if you have a problem with his, well, demeanor or language (long live the seven dirty words), you don’t fuckin’ get it anyway.

Amusing - the seven dirty words depicted in stock photographs. The second, er, ‘rooster sucker’ one is particularly funny.
