More from Bill Maher’s RELIGULOUS
Now that Bill Maher’s Real Time has its writers back, we’ve been receiving inquiries about our initial preview of Religulous, the documentary satire from Maher and Borat director Larry Charles. Here’s what we’ve got:
First, I had been pronouncing it wrong. (Not that any of you heard me pronounce it.) It’s ruh-lidge-you-luss. There, now go impress your politically minded know-it-all friends.
Second, here’s a photo from Lionsgate of Charles and Maher making the film. Where the hell are they? I love that Larry Charles looks like he could be either a wise religious sage or a homicidal roadside hitchhiker.

Third, and this is my personal favorite. As many Maher fans already know, the wiseass shows up on Larry King now and again. In this February appearance, Maher continues to rail against organized religion and its occasionally aggressive stance.
Religulous will hit US screens in limited release on June 20. Or go see it in France in April.
What’s your take on a film that will question (and likely skewer) religion?

Perhaps Bills’ “rationalist” don’t speak-up because they themselves know that intolerance for the religious populations of this world - let alone America - is not the way to “convince” people that their faith, as Bill puts it, is what so-called rationalist call “fairy tales” from an alleged primitive time. Calling for the “demise” of anyones belief out of clear socio-political incompatibility with Bills’ distorted view of the world, and perhaps the Human condition, is itself destructive and unbecoming of supportive communities and ideals. It would be interesting to examine if the political convictions of John Adams - at many times making clear associations with Christianity and the Word of The Bible - would have thought that his religions beliefs where “destructive” of his political convictions for Freedom and Liberty. It is interesting how Bill supports the existence and defense for Israel with American troops - the majority of which are Christian - yet never mentions the “demise” of the jews. Bill Maher IS a bigot and a hypocrite!
if this doesn’t change the world, we’re screwed

Bill Maher will undoubtedly burn in hell, the question is: How many more people will he suck into his sick little world?
Even his own black supermodel girlfriend sued him!!
Who has the cult following again Bill?
