In case you wondering, the style is an homage to the great Saul Bass, specifically his poster for Vertigo, as Ryan brilliantly opines on awardsdaily.com.
And to remind you this is a smart-but-madcap Coen Brothers-style comedy, the tagline reminds you: “Intelligence is relative.” And since I happen to believe Brad Pitt is a) a strong actor and b) pretty darned smart, watching him play a near-moron will be a treat.
