Movie Preview, New Images from BABY MAMA
Our friends at Universal have passed along a new one-sheet and lots of fresh photos – dare we say, newly born? — for Baby Mama, the April 25 comedy with the best female pair in Saturday Night Live history, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. Fey plays a smart career girl who finally wants a kid, but can’t have one. Poehler plays a, well, slightly uncouth working girl (trashy) ready to play surrogate. And they end up living together… The tagline: Would you put your eggs in this basket?
The whole thing sounds too contrived to be great, but the two leads have considerable comic talents, and Baby Mama is written and directed by Saturday Night Live scribe Michael McCullers, co-writer of the second and third Austin Powers movies. We hold out hope.

White Trash takes out the trash. We’re guessing this is an ex-boyfriend thing. Tina Fey was just made to play characters like this on the perimeter of trouble (like in 30 Rock)
If you or someone you know pumps breast milk, this is actually pretty funny.

Sigourney Weaver as the tough head of the surrogate center. Alien has just allowed this great woman to play a bitch at any time. And that’s a good thing.

Pringles must be good for babies. We like them as adults, don’t we?
