New Character Movie Posters: Andrew Niccol’s THE HOST

Melanie and Jared. Jared and Melanie. If Open Road Films has their way, that will become as second-nature to wistfully romantic young movie fans as Edward and Bella. So, stealing a marketing page from The Hunger Games (and a slew of animated films), they’ve introduced the first couple character movie posters for the upcoming The Host, based on the novel by some lady who wrote the Twilight novels (yeah, it’s Stephenie Meyer, we got it) and directed by Andrew Niccol, writer-director of The Truman Show, Gattaca and In Time. Check out the design continuity in the movie posters’ backgrounds. And click on either for a bigger look.
You can see the original movie poster and trailer for The Host here, released last November. And you can see the film in theaters on March 29, 2013.
