Everything points to the romantic comedy It’s Complicated being a near-perfect release for Christmas Day, as planned. A mix of beloved “older” actors. A smart writer/director with proven pedigree (you can almost picture Diane Keaton and Jack Nicholson in this poster.) A plot that can hustle from madcap to moving without pushing too many buttons. And Meryl Streep getting flustered without ABBA music.
This movie will simply nail the 35+ audience heading to the movies the last week of 2009. Here’s our early preview of It’s Complicated and below are some images just received from the fine folks at Universal. Enjoy!
