It’s been a few weeks since two big releases hit the same weekend, so we’re back, summer strong. Here’s our movie review roundup for Adam Sandler’s marquee-buster You Don’t Mess with the Zohan and Jack Black’s animated belly-buster Kung Fu Panda.
:: YOU DON’T MESS WITH THE ZOHAN
Rotten Tomatoes: 34 / 100
Metacritic: 53 / 100
filmcritic.com: 1.5 / 5

Looks like the Zohan’s messin’ with everyone. More Sandler silliness signifying nothing? He plays a dangerous Israeli operative who gives it all up to become a New York City hairdresser. If he could hook up with the Sex and the City chicks, he may have something. Prepare for cool cameos and cheap jokes.
:: KUNG FU PANDA
Rotten Tomatoes: 88 / 100
Metacritic: 74 / 100
filmcritic.com: 3.5 / 5

A classic martial arts tale amidst phenomenal artwork. Fast paced, family friendly, funny.
