QUESTION: Now that we’ve seen The Simpsons Movie’s huge success, can this week’s The Bourne Ultimatum still match it? TELL US

Go to this week’s update

WHOOPS…
Lindsay Lohan in I Know Who Killed MeA scantily clad Lindsay Lohan in a torture-horror movie?! Must have sounded like a can’t-miss during development. Now it’s an all-out bust.

I Know Who Killed Me opened to a teeny $3 million weekend, earning less per screen than Who’s Your Caddy, and just about as much as Ratatouille — a movie that’s been on screens for a month. Are fans sick of torture movies, Lohan’s BS shenanigans or both? Paltry grosses for Hostel Part II and Captivity (under $3 million!) say it’s the genre. Time will tell… if Lohan can clean up enough to star in another movie.

MMM… MONEY…
The Simpsons Movie box office hurricane is still in effect, with over $7 million grossed just this week.

OGRE AND OGRE AND OGRE…
Shrek the Third has been in theaters 2 1/2 months, but still hit last weekend’s Top 20 (#19). The film actually gained business by 65% with a final push began on about 455 screens.
