It’s time for our next free ticket giveaway for Boston area MITL fans: We have three pairs of tickets for the preview of Tony Scott’s new film (remake), The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3, starring Denzel Washington (full-time badass) and John Travolta (part-time badass, lost full-time status in Hairspray).

The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3 is a classic mano a mano mindgame battle: Washington plays a subway dispatcher forced to deal with Travolta’s character “Ryder”, a guy holding hostages on the NYC subway system and demanding a ransom. As the Sony press notes say, there’s one riddle: Even if the thieves get the money, how could they possibly escape? Hmmm.

Thursday, June 11 at 7pm in Boston

To win one of our three pairs of tickets, just leave a comment on this post saying you’d like tickets. Entries will be accepted until Sunday, June 7 at 5pm ET. We’ll choose three entrants at random as the winners and notify them by email Sunday night. Tickets will be mailed this Monday, June 7.
